Dr. Mercedes López

Dra. Mercedes López is an esteemed expert in periodontics, oral medicine, and implantology, with a comprehensive academic and professional background. She holds a degree in Dentistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and earned her European Doctorate in Dentistry through a joint program with the Dublin Dental School and Hospital at Trinity College, Ireland. Additionally, she has completed a Master’s in Periodontics and Implants at UCM, and holds the European Board Certification in Periodontics and Implants from the European Federation of Periodontology.

Her specialization extends to oral medicine, with further postgraduate training in Prosthetics and Oral Rehabilitation from the SCOE and advanced skills in microsurgery acquired at the Jesús Usón Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery.

Dra. López is also deeply committed to academia. She serves as an associate professor in UCM’s Dentistry program and teaches in the postgraduate periodontics program at UCM, as well as in the postgraduate program in Surgery, Implantology, and Implant Prosthetics at the Universidad Internacional de Mississippi.
